Ristorante Ornellaia
The Ristorante Ornellaia is a joint effort of the top Tuscan winery and the Zurich family Bindella. Ornellaia was founded in 1981 in the famous wine village of Bolgheri. Bindella has been importing the crescents of the renowned Tenuta to Switzerland from the very beginning – and as a catering company and wine shop has been cultivating the upscale Italianità for several generations.
In the immediate vicinity of Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse, one of the world’s most exclusive addresses, Ornellaia and Bindella celebrate their expertise in wine and hospitality in the joint Ristorante Ornellaia, framed by impressions of the breathtakingly beautiful landscapes around Bolgheri.
The Ristorante reflects Ornellaia’s dynamic spirit: the wine list includes rarities and older vintages from the “Ornellaia Archivio Storico” as well as large-format bottles that can usually only be bought at international auctions. The offer is completed with an exclusive selection of wines from Bindellas Tenuta Vallocaia in Montepulciano.
