Experience a piece of Bern history. In 1880, the “Coffee Hall Bärenhöfli” was opened as the city of Bern’s first non-alcoholic restaurant. In the course of time, the company constantly adapted to new needs and challenges. One constant factor is the demand for inexpensive, high-quality catering.
The “Öpfuchüechli” (Apple friters) in the Bärenhöfli are legendary: the dessert specialty is known far beyond the city of Bern. We make every serving fresh according to our secret house recipe. We serve vanilla sauce, chilli-chocolate sauce, sorbets and other delicacies with the baked apple rings
