Geneva transport card (Updated)
Free Transport Card goes virtual
Geneva Tourism has changed the Geneva Free transport card system. In the past you were offered a transport card upon check in in your hotel in Geneva.
As of 1st August 2022, the card is now sent virtually directly to you via email prior to your arrival.
The system is automatic and will be sent to the email address you provided your hotel when you reserved accommodations. So it is best you provide them with a valid address.
Three days before arrival, you will receive an e-mail from the accommodation with an online form to fill in to receive your Geneva Transport Card. Don’t forget to check your spam if you haven’t received the form.
Worry about security and your information. Booking.com give you a unique and anonymous Booking alias. Reserve via Booking.com
Should you have not received the card prior to travel or upon check in, check with your Hotel, they can help you get the virtual card.
It has been reported that certain OTA’s do not request or forward your email to the hotel you have booked with them. We therefore recommend that you check with the hotel prior to arrival or upon check in should you have note received your virtual transport card.
