Parc Mon Repos
The Parc Mon Repos Located between the Rue de Lausanne, the Avenue de France and the lake, the Mon Repos park is one of the gateways to Geneva and the start of a succession of five parks of exceptional beauty which open up majestic panoramas on the lake, the city and the mountains.
The park offers a very wide variety of trees: a plane tree more than a hundred years old dominates the landing stage of the Mouettes at the edge of the lake; a little higher up, a group of exotic palm trees borders the paddling pool.
The park also offers spectacular blooms in spring, especially with the magnolia at the corner of rue de Lausanne and avenue de France and at the end of summer when the lilacs of the Indies located at the top of the space of games are adorned with flowers in pink and mauve tones for a few weeks.
