Venite a scoprire Ginevra com'era durante un fine settimana nel 1602<\/strong> e farete un viaggio indietro nel tempo.<\/h4>\n

Quell'anno, nella notte tra l'11 e il 12 dicembre, Carlo Emanuele I, duca di Savoia, tent\u00f2 di impadronirsi di Ginevra, che aveva abbracciato la fede riformata fin dal 1536. Marci\u00f2 con il suo esercito al riparo dell'oscurit\u00e0 per cogliere la citt\u00e0 di sorpresa. Aveva pianificato di fare di Ginevra la capitale dei suoi territori a nord delle Alpi e di combattere il calvinismo con l'appoggio di papa Clemente VIII, nonostante un trattato di pace che era stato giurato e rinnovato pi\u00f9 volte.<\/p>\n
