Here, the permanent exhibition, \u201cFrom commercial timberland to natural forest\u201d, relates the past, present and future of the Sihlwald. The relationship between humans and nature also plays an important role in this respect; while in earlier days the beech forest on the left bank of Lake Zurich supplied the entire city of Zurich with firewood, it is now completely left to nature.<\/p>\n<p>An interactive exhibition passes on knowledge about the flora and flora in the forest in a fun and interesting way.
