L’Auberge du Lion d’Or in Versoix is housed in walls dating from\u00a0 the 1500s and has been an inn for over 150 years old.<\/p>\n

It owes its name from the Middle Ages when to distinguish a “serious” establishment from the usual lupanars an innkeeper had the idea of \u200b\u200bcalling his hotel “Au lit on dort”,
\nit has therefore nothing to do with the jungle and the king of animals!<\/p>\n

The Auberge du Lion d\u00b4Or Versoix is \u200b\u200balso a culinary tradition and a penchant for good food through the successive owners of this renowned inn.<\/p>\n

For three years we have been trying to offer you original dishes, French or Italian cuisine, prepared with fresh products, local products as often as possible.<\/p>\n

Our dining room offers a mix of modernity with its polished concrete tables and rustic style with its period stone walls and old-fashioned oak floors.<\/p>\n

A collection of a few unique pieces of petrified wood offers you a journey back in time of some 250 million years.<\/p>\n

Our terrace welcomes you during the summer in the alley in an Italian alley’s atmosphere.<\/p>\n
