In a rustic and historic ambience, we serve everything the gourmet \u2013 heart desires. From hearty meat dishes to cold cuts of all kinds to world-famous Swiss specialties. What we serve on a plate, has tradition, and is often based on recipes that have been cultivated and perfected for generations. It offers good value and genuine quality and a unique gastronomic experience within ancient walls.<\/p>\n<p>FROM THE ARSENAL STORE HOUSE TO THE PLACE OF ENJOYMENT. Our house was built in 1487 &#8211; before Columbus even discovered America. The name \u00abZeughaus\u00bb means an &#8220;arsenal storehouse&#8221; in whitch weapons and ammunition were stored and were also maintained there. Unfortunately, during the Middle Ages, the Swiss experienced more war than peace. Legend has it that the crossbow from William Tell, our national hero, was issued here.<\/p>\n<p>Since 1926, the arsenal building has been peaceful and sociable.
